At WAICC, Li was briefed on the introduction of how Huawei’s HPC+AI empowers various industries and facilitates new industrialization. He also learned about the center’s history, future plans and the latest research advancements in HPC, big data and AI. After that, Li shared his ideas with representatives from Huawei on the application of AI in various industries.

At WSC, the staff from Huawei demonstrated the latest achievements such as the quantitative precipitation monitoring and forecasting platform of the Yangtze River Basin and the agricultural remote sensing monitoring service system. During this visit, Li’s team had in-depth discussions with Huawei’s technical experts on related topics.

Li said that Huawei has been an important partner in HZAU’s digital education for these years and expressed his gratitude to Huawei for its long-standing support and collaboration with HZAU. He also praised Huawei as a pride of the Chinese enterprises and acknowledged its remarkable achievements. Through this visit, Li and the team gained a deeper understanding of Huawei’s core competitiveness and developed stronger confidence in the localization of information technology industry. With the aim of advancing the high-quality development of HZAU, Li underlined the need to seize this opportunity to enhance communication, promote strategic cooperation and collaborative innovation between HZAU and Huawei, further deepen cooperation in areas such as the “Smart HZAU” project, intelligent agriculture, and integration of industry and education to jointly foster talents.
