The International Seminar on Natural Resources and Public Policy was held last Saturday in the lecture hall M115 of Humanities and Social Science Building, with attendance of scholars from the University of Cambridge, University of California Berkeley, Australian National University, HZAU faculties and students of School of Public Management and Department of International Cooperation and Exchange.
In the opening remarks delivered by Vice president Wu Ping, she began by warmly welcoming the scholars on behalf of school and gave a briefing of the HZAU history, its School of Public Management and current development of disciplines.
Eight experts presented their reports in the keynote speech section hosted by professor Paul Stars from University of California Berkeley. In the following group discussions, group members made reports based on respective themes and the experts were invited to make comments on the papers submitted to the seminar.
Prof. Zhang Anlu, Dean of School of Public Management concluded the seminar by summarizing and making comments on the 8 keynote speeches and group discussions and extended his thanks to the representatives and organizers who made thoughtful preparations for this seminar. He pointed out that this seminar further enhanced the exchanges between HZAU and overseas universities. Finally, Prof. Zhang expressed his expectation for the next gathering.
